چکیده
Field experiments were conducted during Rabi 2018-19 (September to January) and Kharif 2019 (May September). Medium duration rice cv. CO(R) 51 was used as a test variety at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, India study the effect of Triafamone on broad spectrum weed control in transplanted rice. applied two times. First set treatments (30, 40,50 100 g/ha) three leaf stage weeds second imposed days after transplanting crop. These compared with Pyrazosulfuron ethy 10% WP @ 15 g/ha, Pretilachlor 5% EC 750 hand weeding 20 40 unweeded control. The major grasses Echinochloa crus-galli (L.) E. colonum while sedge included Cyperus nutans (L.). Among leaved Eclipta alba Bergia ammanioides dominant species. In both seasons study, lesser population grass recorded pre early post emergence application triafamone herbicide g a.i. ha-1 (1.41 1.41 per m-2 28 42 DAA for respectively) it closely followed by 50 PE 0.75 kg EPOE ethyl ha-1. same trend observed their dry weights. Application highest efficiency 100, 97.7 99.6 % 97.8% years experimentation also resulted higher grain yield (8052 8182 rabi 9018, 9175 2019). Further, is noticed that, there no residual toxicity succeeding crops. Hence, either or has productivity residues ecosystem.

Increased soybean seed cost in recent years has generated interest in reducing seeding rates to maintain consistent economic returns. However, low seeding rates result in reduced established plant stands with slower canopy development, and canopy development is touted as an important element of integrated weed management (IWM). IWM practices have become even more important to slow the developme...
